How do I get the snmpEngineID of Statseeker?

Cisco ISE connections require the snmpEngineID of Statseeker to send SNMPv3 traps to Statseeker.

Go to the command line and switch user to root:

statseeker$  su -
Password:

Check that bsnmpd is running:

root# service bsnmpd onestart
bsnmpd already running?  (pid=684).

Get the snmpEngineID from the localhost:

root#  bsnmpget -s 127.0.0.1 snmpEngineID
snmpEngineID.0 = 0x800008be8034323534373038373239
