How do I change the subnet mask on the Statseeker host?

Please use the ssadmin tool from the command line to change the subnet mask.

I suggest doing this from a console session to ensure connectivity during the change.

From the ssadmin tool main menu choose:

 4. Network Configuration

Then

 3. Set IP / netmask / media

Then choose the interface you wish to change.

e.g.

 1. vmx0: inet 10.2.20.100 netmask 255.255.255.0

Then answer "y" to:

Would you like to unset IP configuration for interface vmx0 (y/n) [n] ?

Then choose the interface again and set the new details and set the media type to auto

(2):

e.g.

vmx0 Configuration

 IP address(Not Set): 10.2.20.100

 Netmask(Not Set): 255.255.255.0

 Supported Media Types:

  1. nd6 options=29<PERFORMNUD,IFDISABLED,AUTO_LINKLOCAL>

  2. mediaselect auto

 Media Type(1-2): 2

Then "q" back three times and Statseeker will reboot with the new interface settings.

e.g.

Enter option: q
